I had another fantastic engagement session while we still had some color on the trees.  Miranda & Curtis are an adorable couple…who laugh a lot.  I love it.  Really, really love it.  Here’s some of my favorites from their session…

I had so much fun photographing Rachel & Scott’s engagement session!  They had an idea in mind and it was fantastic!  Check out this setup they brought along:

I love fall. And to get an engagement session done during the fall with these beautiful leaves…well, that’s just a treat for me.  This one is one of my favorites – because of the leaves in the air.

It’s always nice when a former bride calls me to do photos again later.  Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing a 1-year anniversary (a year after I photographed their wedding).  This time I got to do a maternity session for one of my favorite brides, Holly.  Her engagement session was fun…her wedding was beautiful…and her maternity session was FABULOUS!  Now, I would have linked to her engagement session as well…but I just discovered as I write this that I failed to even post her engagement session.  That’s what happens when I have a lot going on…I forget to post things on this blog.  So, here’s a few from her engagement session:

I’ve been so busy this month with portrait sessions, consultations, engagement sessions and a wedding that I’ve fallen behind on updating my Blog.  So here it goes all in one big post!

A few weeks ago I got to know (and photograph) Josey Crews, the wonderful guy who helped me get news coverage for our wedding contest and who is the segment producer for Good Morning America.  He’s extremely easy to get along with – which made spending the afternoon with him an absolute pleasure (even with all the sweating from the heat).

And then this last one makes me think of the cover of a romance novel.  I love it!

Then, a few days later, I did some head shots for Dina for her business.  She gorgeous so again, another easy person to photograph.  This one ended up being our favorite.

And the next day I did a couple portraits sessions with Hillary and Holly.  They are not related (I’ve already been asked because of the similarity in their names).  I’ll also be photographing Holly’s wedding in November.

These are just a sneak peek of the engagement session with Kara and BJ today.  We started at Memorial Park and ended up at Friendship Fountain.  This was our 3rd attempt at doing this session as the last 2 times we were rained out.  Glad it worked out today…
