Heather & Ray’s destination mountain wedding at The North Pavilion at The Lodges At Eagles Nest in Banner Elk, NC was absolutely exquisite and stunning. Eagles Nest, besides being a gorgeous location for a wedding, rises above Banner Elk to around 5,000 feet elevation.
Her decor choices and attention to detail really made this wedding stand out, not to mention, Heather looked like a model!
These adorable wood badges for the kids were really unique. One wore “ring bearer” and another was “ring security.”
Heather’s great-grandmother walked her down the aisle – and had a birthday celebration during the reception!
We had a chance to run to the Great Camp in Eagles Nest for additional portraits shortly after the ceremony, where there is a unique “camp” area with large teepees.
Heather’s makeup artist followed us there to do some touch ups before the portraits (what service!).
Heather and Ray chose to hire an incredibly talented live band rather than a DJ, which was an excellent choice and kept the reception alive the entire night.
The night ended with a perfect sparkler exit and the couple hopping on a trolley back to their cabin.
