Josh and Amber had the most perfect intimate wedding at the Valle Crucis Park a couple weeks ago. Also, I mentioned in the last elopement I posted on this blog that cheesecake is just the best – and guess what Josh and Amber did for their cake? Cheesecake. It’s clearly the way to go.
Don’t you just love the look on the groom’s face when he sees his bride for the first time? It’s one of my favorites moments.
I mean, just look at the adoration on his face. When asked what he loved about his bride, he responded: “Her kind heart.”
There was a bit of difficulty in pouring the sand…and it required a bit of work to get it finished, but everyone enjoyed the process regardless. When asked what she loved about her future husband, Amber responded: “His sense of humor. He loves to laugh and just be happy.”
“Josh proposed in the mountains of North Carolina near a small river. We love the outdoors and the mountains, so it was perfect! He proposed with a sapphire that we found gem mining a few weeks prior.”
They wanted to go to the Mast General Store just down the road for a couple sodas and some photos. I mean, what better way to spend a few moments after getting married? Drinking a couple sodas in bottles, swinging on a porch swing, and basking in the glow of being newly married? It’s the BEST ever!
I hope Josh and Amber have many, many years of happiness ahead of them! It was a pleasure to meet them and photograph their wedding day!
