Brittney and Chris were married at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Linville, NC. Goodness, church weddings are so beautiful! Brittney and Chris met through a mutual friend at a bar on karaoke night. Chris was a karaoke regular and it was Brittney’s first time. And the rest is history! Eight months later, Chris proposed to Brittney at a park in the evening.
I first had the opportunity to get to know them during their engagement session on Roan Mountain. They are, no kidding, such a perfectly matched couple. And it is no secret how much they truly love each other because it shows in every look and every touch between them. I absolutely adore seeing couples like this!
We began with getting ready photos at Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock, where the bride was preparing for her wedding with her bridesmaids. Her dress? It’s her mother’s. And it’s absolutely stunning.
I just love that her mother AND grandmother helped Brittney get ready!
After the ceremony and formal portraits, we stopped at a scenic overlook for some quick portraits before heading to the reception.
I will tell you, Meadowbrook Inn has an amazing spot just outside of the reception area for portraits. I mean, if you didn’t know, you’d think this was a park!
Normally, I’m not a huge fan of gazebos, but goodness, this changed my mind.
I am so honored to have had the privilege of witnessing the wedding of Brittney and Chris and the beginning of their happily ever after. Because if anyone is going to have a fairy tale ending, it will be these two. Thank you for being such a great couple to work with!
