Why should we hire you for our wedding?

Because I am a seasoned, full-time professional photographer, with over 10 years of experience photographing weddings. And because of that experience, I know the dynamics and flow of a wedding day. It’s that experience that ensures I can consistently deliver high quality images to my clients no matter what setting or situation arises during your wedding day. How many final images will we receive?

The number of final weddings images depends on many things: the number of guests, the length of the day and hours of coverage, etc. However, you can expect approximately 100 final images for each hour of coverage on your wedding day, but usually the number is higher.

How long does it take to see our images?

I work diligently to get your images in an online proofing gallery in a timely fashion…because I want you to see your wedding images while you are still excited and everything is still fresh! Typically, you can expect to see your wedding images in your online gallery approximately 2 weeks after your wedding day, but sometimes it can take up to 4 weeks during the more busy time of the season.

How do payments work?

A $500 non-refundable security deposit is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due no less than 1 week before your wedding date. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted and we have an easy online method for payment.

Do you accept payment plans?

Absolutely! After you pay the $500 deposit, you can pay the balance on any schedule that works best for you – as long as the balance is paid in full no less than 1 week prior to your wedding day.

Can we view a full wedding?

Yes, please! Just ask! I encourage potential wedding clients to view full wedding galleries from any photographer they are interested in. I have several full weddings I will be happy to show you – just send me an email!

Do you have insurance?

I am fully insured.

Do you backup your images?

Yes! Backing up the wedding images I have taken is my top priority to ensure safe delivery to you. I have the images backed up on duplicate hard drives in addition to an online cloud backup system.

Where should we have our portraits taken?

The High Country (Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock area) of North Carolina is an exceptionally beautiful area. There are many amazing locations for portraits in this area and I’m happy to recommend some ideas, depending on what you have in mind for your portraits. Most portraits are taken on location, however, I can also bring professional studio lighting and backdrops to provide studio-style portraits in the comfort of your home (easy and stress-free).

How quickly will we see our proofs after the session?

Online proofs are generally posted in the gallery within 7 days.

Can we view and order our pictures online?

Absolutely! Especially since a lot of my portrait clients are not local, online proofing is a most convenient way of sharing images with you and allowing you to order prints, digital files, or other products.

Can we purchase the digital images?

You sure can! Most portrait clients choose to purchase the digital files from their session. The high-resolution, fully-edited digital files from your session with rights to reproduce are available for purchase through the online gallery.

When is payment due?

Your session fee is due on the day of your session.
