I was thrilled when Brock contacted me about photographing his surprise proposal to Abby at the Banner Elk Winery. And because it obviously was a surprise, I had to try to NOT be obvious. So, what did I photograph? Oh, you know, some bottles of wine…..
….some barrels…..
….some people enjoying some wine (their amazing blueberry wine, by the way) and listening to music. Oh, wait, that’s Brock and Abby.
Oh, and I photographed a glass of wine sitting in front of the fire….
Then he got down on one knee.
And then he pointed out the people who were in on it.
While we were at it, it was worth taking some portraits of the newly engaged couple.
We also saw a cow hanging out by the road. Totally normal. 😉
