Louie and Michelle had a spectacular wedding in Savannah, GA. And while the rain altered plans just slightly, their Savannah Riverboat Cruise wedding was beautiful.
Six years ago, Michelle and Louie met in person for the time on Beale Street in Memphis. They knew immediately that they had both met someone special. They fell in love, had a child (their son Lito), and shortly after moved to Florida to be closer to Michelle’s family.
After moving. Michelle became pregnant with their second child, Violet. Louie knew it was time to push himself in his life and career and knew Michelle was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
After months of saving and planning, Louie proposed to Michelle at the St. Augustine Wildlife Reserve, in front of a rare tiger on one knee. Very proper, of course.
Why did they choose the beautiful town of Savannah, GA to get married?
“What better way to meld two hometowns, two cultures, two families than in a city halfway between Memphis and Miami? In a historical city on a river, so similar to where they first met? What better way to celebrate a love everlasting than on a river, beneath a night sky, on a timeless vessel guiding us towards their next great adventure?” — Louie & Michelle
Confession: I have always admired women who can wear red lipstick and look amazing. She looked amazing.
Michelle’s bridesmaids filled the role perfectly – as you can see here.
What a beautiful family!!!
OK, now I just had to show all these images of Louie and Michelle’s entrance as they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. for the start of their reception. Why? Because THIS entrance was awesome. They danced their way in and perfectly!
I was very impressed to learn that Louie baked their wedding cake. Gorgeous!
It was such an honor to photograph this beautiful wedding. Their family and friends were such wonderful people (which always makes a wedding so much more fun!). I hope Louie and Michelle have many, many years of happiness ahead of them!
